Extradition proceedings

Fugitives facing extradition proceedings are entitled to have Duty Lawyer representation in the proceedings.

Upon receipt of information of the proceedings from court, the staff of the Duty Lawyer Service will contact the subject person at the cell of the court in the morning of his or her first court appearance offering him or her our service. Applicants are subject to means test and payment of a fixed handling charge of $670.
