In the year under review, the total number of staff of the Duty Lawyer Service stands at 147, including:

5 Officers specifically assigned for the Care or Protection Scheme
41 Officers specifically assigned for the Legal Assistance Scheme for Non-refoulement Claimants

Remuneration Review

Review of remunerations of senior executives at the top three tiers had been conducted periodically as recommended by the Chief Secretary for Administration’s Office. It was concluded that the total remuneration of each tier was on par with that of comparable ranks in the civil service.
